KPMG - Acted as
facilitator for a small team from the National Executive
Committee during the process of the firm's search for a new
National Chairman. Successfully converted this from a simple
election process to a strong team building
activity.
Australian Taxation Office
- Facilitated a major organisational change among staff
responsible for the legislative program of the government in
the area. Worked on implementation with the CEO on internal
structural changes and related work patterns. Reported
directly to the First Assistant Commissioner and Second
Commissioner, a project in which the Commissioner took a close
interest.
Credit Union Industry -
Facilitated strategic planning conferences for a number of
organisations in the industry for more than ten years. This is
an ongoing role working with boards of directors and senior
management in credit unions throughout Australia.
Australian Taxation Office
- Conducted major organisational review of the ATO's
information technology function involving major cultural
changes, innovative arrangements for senior staff, and a
process of empowerment through team building at the working or
service delivery level. Reported to the First Assistant
Commissioner and his senior management team.
Credit Union Reserve Board
of NSW - Reviewed training needs and requirements under the
Training Guarantee Act recommending a strategy for compliance;
organised and participated in delivery to senior
staff.
St Lukes Hospital Complex
- Chairman of a Steering Committee of senior staff including
the CEO and external consultants to devise a training and HR
platform for the hospital under DEET/TASK funding
arrangements.
Annual Reports Awards Inc
- Facilitated strategic directional planning conference for
the board of directors.
Australian Taxation Office
- Conducted a major review of work practices in each of
sixteen branch offices nationally. Branch reports were
developed into composite national "best practices"
recommendations. Reported to the First Assistant and the
Second Commissioners. This was a project in which involved the
Commissioner of Taxation.
University of New South
Wales - IPACE - Wrote and presented two audio tapes for the
"Emerging Manager" series of their national training
division.
University of New South
Wales - Strategic planning workshops for the Facilities
Department and for the School of Computer Science and
Engineering.
Holiday Coast Credit Union
- Undertook a structural review of the operations of the
credit union with follow up implementation strategy together
with recommendations on the establishment of a related human
resource platform.
Outdoor Life Group -
Organisational review of the operations of a number of retail
stores including facilitation of a strategic planning workshop
for the group.
KPMG - Devised and
presented a two day training program on counselling skills for
the senior partners of the NSW practice in a new program of
partner counselling.
Noyce Lawyers - Designed a
human resources platform to reflect their commitment to client
focus and continuous improvement and wrote manual to reflect
this platform: recruitment; competencies; review and
development; performance management etc.
Quality Society of
Australasia - Served on a committee of the QSA to formulate a
draft "Guide to Core Knowledge and Skills for People with
Responsibility for Facilitating the Development,
Implementation and Improvement of 'Quality' in an
Organisation"
